Money for Asia

I'm amazed how much money people are willing to donate for the victims of the tsunami. Over 112 million Euros and still counting. These days I'm proud to say I'm Dutch!

You may not be so proud if you knew more about how all this money will be spent. Are you aware that most humanitarian relief funds sent to Aceh will be administered by the Indonesian military, who has been fighting the Acehnese for 30 years, not to mention brutally occupying West Papua, which the Dutch stated they would defend in 1961, but still now refuse to protest the genocide committed there for diplomatic reasons? Money isn't everything. You should look into the politics and recent history of West Papua before you claim pride.
