About this blog
This is my personal blog which I started in 2003. At first it was called Communigations, a variation on Communicative Investigations. The blog transformed itself more into a personal investigation than being a blog on communication and therefore needed a new name.As a fencer, the name of this blog reflects how I write my thoughts into coherent stories, fence them off from all the sidepaths and rapidly go back and forth, covering various topics that interest me.

Tonight I finally got around watching the DVD of the concert of Kyteman in Groningen (Kyteman is also known as Colin Benders). It’s an absolutely amazing concert to watch. Here’s their official release of ‘City is Burning’ on Youtube.
I’m often a bit sceptical when artists are hyped and everyone starts talking about a musician, but I can’t deny I LOVE Kyteman. The amount of energy this guy has on stage and the way he conducts his hiphop orchestra. It makes me want to learn how to play trumpet/trombone/tuba/violin/cello/rap/drums all at once!
What really convinced me of the qualities of this group is the backstage jamsession at Pinkpop this year.
